Description

Skullcap is a restorative tonic for the nervous system. It has sedating and quietening effects on all aspects of the nervous system, as well as acting as an antispasmodic. It is indicated for conditions such as nervous exhaustion, tension, hysteria, anxiety, epilepsy, chorea, insomnia, restlessness and neuralgia.

It is deemed invaluable in convulsions, hydrophobia, St Vitus’s dance and rickets and headaches arising from incessant coughing.

Its antispasmodic action makes it useful in conditions where stress and worry cause muscular tension. It can be used by itself or prescribed with other sedative herbs for insomnia and period pain.

This skullcap is organically and bio dynamically grown in the Northern rivers of NSW.
